CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!

The UMBC Bookstore partners with Herff Jones to provide graduation regalia, announcements, class rings, diploma frames and more to graduating students! Academic regalia is required for graduates to participate in the ceremony.

Bachelor's students purchase their regalia. Master's students and doctoral candidates rent their regalia for the ceremony. All orders for graduation regalia must be made online. Orders will ship directly from Herff Jones to the address provided.

  • Bachelors (Purchase): $59.99 + shipping
  • Masters (Rental): $94.99 + shipping

IMPORTANT DATES

  • April 25: Last day to order regalia with standard shipping.
  • May 6: Last day to order regalia with expedited shipping.
  • May 7 & 8: Class Ring Sale! A Herff Jones representative will be in-store from 11am to 4pm.
  • May 21: Graduate Commencement Ceremony
  • May 22: Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies

UNDERGRADUATE REGALIA

  • Bachelor regalia is available for purchase and includes a cap, gown and tassel. 
  • Students eligible for honor stoles and cords will receive an email with information regarding pick-up on May 1.

GRADUATE REGALIA

  • Masters regalia is available for rent and includes a cap, gown, tassel and hood.
  • PhD regalia is available for rent and includes a tam, gown, tassel and hood.
  • A call tag will be included in your package to return the rental regalia after the ceremony. Students are responsible for returning their regalia by June 1 to avoid replacement charges.
  • Graduate students looking to purchase their regalia can contact [email protected] for more information. To ensure arrival by the ceremony, orders must be placed by April 2. Expedited manufacturing and shipping options are available.
